As part of my series of painting iconic London, I decided to paint the London Eye but only so that it is partially in view. I also wanted to do something different and gave it an afternoon sunset glow as if one was viewing it on a summer's eve. This is a personal favourite of mine because of the way the yellowy orange colours of the sunset bring out the muted greys of the Eye and its pods.
This is a deep edge canvas an the painting continues on the sides. It is ready to hang and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
