Garden Lillies - Original Painting

Every Spring these beautiful Cala Lilies always come up and start to grow tall and produce these incredibly white flowers which I think they are so majestic. Many painters from Georgia O'Keefe to Frida Kahlo have painted these Calas and I always wanted to as well. I took my camera and shot lots of photos of the Lilies and then chose what I liked best of all of them and put them into this painting.
I enjoyed painting wooden fence behind the lilies building up the layers until it had the appearance of wood. It is sometimes difficult to paint white flowers as it seems one can never get them white enough, so that was also another fun challenge.
This painting comes with a certificate of authenticity and the canvas has hooks and cord so it is ready to hang.
